Miramonte Christian School is using a secure, private communication tool called BLOOMZ  to simplify communication between the school, teachers and parents. Each classroom teacher and school administration is able to share pictures, announcements and resources, as well as coordinate activities and field trips.  Parents are able to share photos, interact with other parents and sign up for volunteering and activities using BLOOMZ.

Teachers can post photos and videos, sometimes even daily in real-time, that they have taken during the school day and during school events to this private photo-video feed, not publicly accessible except to current parents/guardians that have joined their child's BLOOMZ group when invited by the classroom teacher.  Contact your child's teacher for more information and the code needed to join the correct class.

Some teachers also use BLOOMZ to communicate student’s daily citizenship at school, which provides immediate feedback to parents and students. Parents may respond to a teacher’s comment and discuss with their child when they get home. Points earned can be used as a positive feedback tool.

BLOOMZ is in use in the classrooms and school-wide at Miramonte, beginning in the 2019-2020 school year.  Prior to that,  the Class Dojo www.classdojo.com  and Class Messenger communication tools were being used.
