  • Athletics - Physical Education (PE) 

    The Physical Education program covers a wide variety of activities for students in all grades. These activities will challenge the students, both as an individual as well as how they work in small and large groups. The safety of our students is of the utmost importance and our standard is to make PE a safe and fun educational environment for all. 


    Miramonte is blessed to have new, state-of-the-art gymnasium auditorium built in 2000 with regulation basketball courts, volleyball, electronic scoreboard, air conditioned: as well as large grass playing fields for softball, soccer, flag football, etc, a 1/4 mile track, outdoor courts for basketball, volleyball, etc. 


    PE grading is based on 3 criteria: 

    • Participation - proper clothing and shoes, effort, engagement, and involvement
    • Development - progress towards specific goals
    • Citizenship - behavior, attitude to staff and peers, willingness to learn and respect. 


    The students PE experience will be challenging, fun, informative and memorable. Parent support and prayers will help make this an amazing part of the students school year!

    In addition to in-class drama events, there are two main all-school drama theatrical events:

    • Student family provided devices - smart phones, tablets, etc

  • Lego Robotics - After School

    Adventist Robotics League in the FIRST* Lego League (*For Inspiration and Recognition of Science and Technology) 
    Elementary and middle school students research a real-world STEM (science, technology, engineering, and math) challenge, develop a solution, and then design, build, program and compete with LEGO-based Mindstorm robots .   The students develop critical thinking, team-building skills, basic STEM applications, presentation skills, and demonstrate professionalism.

  • Woodworking - 8th grade

    • Learn to use basic hand tools, sanding and painting techniques, and safety rules
    • Earn Pinewood Derby and Wood Handicraft Pathfinder honors
    • Make three projects
